Trio of special offers available with DFDS Seaways

Three special offers have been made available on AFerry.co.uk, from DFDS Seaways.

It is offering discount day trips between Dover and Dunkirk starting at just £19, with overnight returns from £25 and five-day returns from just £39.

The offers apply to bookings made by March 29th for journeys to be undertaken by May 3rd.

While they do not include the Easter period (March 30th to April 15th), this does provide the chance to enjoy a cheap break abroad during the spring, taking advantage of the longer and lighter days and warmer weather.

And this could be used to explore the beaches of northern France that are famous for their role in the Second World War, which in Dunkirk's case saw Britain manage to evacuate its retreating forces back home in 1940 to ensure the country could still be defended.

Earlier this month, DFDS said it was taking steps to remain competitive on its Immingham to Gothenburg route, after rival North Sea RoRo said it would start running services between the two destinations.
