Wightlink has launched the latest edition of Wight Taste Trail, its guide to the best cuisine on offer across the Isle of Wight.
The new version of the publication provides details of various gourmet treats for island visitors to enjoy, including cherries from an orchard overlooking Godshill and award-winning beef from locally reared cattle.
Wightlink's guide also features profiles of pubs and restaurants that travellers can visit on the Isle of Wight, including Robert Thompson's Hambrough in Ventnor, which won a Michelin star this year.
Commenting on the quality of food available on the island, Mr Thompson said: "The taste of the beef from the Highland cattle reared on Wroxall Cross Farm is really distinctive and to my mind far superior to anything else available.
"It's no wonder that bulls reared on the farm have gone to Oban, home of the breed, and snatched the top awards from local Scottish stock."
Wightlink also provides free guides on the Isle of Wight's walking routes, rare plants and other topics that may be of interest to holidaymakers.
Travellers can catch ferries to Fishbourne and Ryde from Portsmouth with
Wightlink or use its Lymington to Yarmouth ferry route.
