Wightlink has announced that it will sell tickets for live music concerts set to take place at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight this summer.
The ferry operator will sell tickets for the gigs on July 31st and August 1st - which will be headlined by Will Young and Bananarama - directly from its terminals.
People planning to attend either or both concerts can take
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne or Ryde with Wightlink and head to Osborne House in East Cowes.
Young will play live at the venue on July 31st with support from Charley Macaulay, while Bananarama will take to the stage on the following day along with other 1980s pop favourites including Rick Astley, ABC and Belinda Carlisle.
Wightlink marketing manager Kerry Jackson said: "With the Isle of Wight Festival already established as one of the UK's premier events and Bestival being rated the 'best medium-sized festival' in last year's Festival Awards, it is great news to be able to announce this unique summer music event at Osborne House."
Travellers planning to visit the island this year also have the option of taking ferries to Yarmouth from Lymington with Wightlink.
