The Oscar Wilde vessel that serves
Irish Ferries' Rosslare to Cherbourg ferry route will host a special wine fair weekend this month.
Wine-themed events will be held on the sailing from Rosslare ferry port on November 27th and on the return crossing from Cherbourg on November 29th.
Passengers will be able to take part in tastings and hear talks given by growers and winemakers from up to 20 different estates in France.
Regions set to be represented at the event include Bordeaux, Burgundy, Alsace, Beaujolais, the Rhone valley and Champagne.
People catching ferries to Cherbourg from Rosslare with
Irish Ferries will also have the opportunity to sample an exclusive range of Vin de Pays wines, which will be available from 2.95 (£2.65).
The wine fair weekend will be hosted by Normandie Wine Warehouse, an outlet that has been cooperating with
Irish Ferries on a special promotion this year.
Customers travelling with the ferry operator have been offered discounts of up to 12.5 per cent at the Normandie Wine Warehouse, which is located on Avenue Carnot.
