Red Funnel's vehicle ferries will begin their winter schedule tomorrow (October 31st), while a separate timetable has been published for the period between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.
The ferry crossings operator has also confirmed that its Red Jets will be switching to their winter timetable, the Isle of Wight County Press reported.
This will see a car ferry service departing every 90 minutes throughout the day between East Cowes and Southampton.
Red Jet Services will operate a half-hourly service throughout the day, while ferry passengers will be pleased to learn that there will be an earlier weekend service compared to last year, with the first service leaving Cowes at 06:45 GMT.
This summer,
Red Funnel introduced Red Jet 5 to its fleet after the operator invested £2 million on the 33m Solent Class catamaran.
Having joined sister vessels Red Jet 3 and Red Jet 4, the catamaran is used on the route between Southampton and West Cowes.
