Decided to take a well deserved break after working through Xmas & New Year, and took our car to Germany to visit relatives. This crossing was ideal, and was a perfect way to start our break. We pre-booked our cabins and evening meal, the service in the restaurant, along with the food was good, the only downside to our trip was the cabin from Hull to Rotterdam, bunk beds? Was expecting something a little better as the cabins we booked were classed as "Premium" the cabin and ship on the return leg was much better, it was more like a cruise ship (The Pride of Rotterdam) much better, so would reccommend that if sailing using this route you try and get this ship for both journeys! That said we were very happy with the service and facilities on board, and will book again. Thankyou AFerry.co.uk 9.4
Ideal way to go to Europe, we have crossed the channel many times via the tunnel but the ferry crossing is far more relaxed. We had a pleasant meal, a good nights sleep and that allowed us to be more refreshed to face the 12 hour drive to Austria. Well done P&O. 10.0
We had a very Pleasent journey from Ireland to England on day sailing. The boat was very clean and tidy The cabin was very clean and tidy, the bed were very clean and easy to sleep in, Food seved twice on journey very tasty, cofee, tea, on offer all day. The bar was clean and friendly. 4.2
Overall the trip was as normal. The restaurant where we normally eat appears to of changed from quite good to poor. You would be better going to the alternative where you pick what you want. Also now you can only pick-up your alcohol purchases when you arrive {06-00 to 07-00} 8.6
Bit strange at first with all the freight but once on board the staff were wonderful; catering amazing & so much more relaxing than the big noisy car ferries. Appreciated the efforts made to inform us of cancellations, & to squeeze us on last minute on return trip! Will use again if we get the chance to travel across the Irish Sea. Thankyou |
