Getting to Scrabster

Rapsons operate local bus routes in the North of Scotland. Citylink operate a regular coach service from Scrabster to Inverness. Some services stop at the Ferry Terminal in Scrabster, while others stop 1½ miles from the Ferries Terminal, in the centre of Thurso.

A regular train service of Scotrail links Thurso and Wick with Inverness and is timed to connect with arrivals and departures of the Northlink ferry crossings from Scrabster port. A bus link between the station, Thurso town and Scrabster is in operation for speedy passenger transfer. Thurso Train Station is located about 2 miles from Scrabster Ferry terminal.

Wick Airport is situated 23½ miles from the town. There is a regular air service to Edinburgh.
