The French ski resort of Morzine offers a fantastic winter ski holiday for all levels and ages. The resort is situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil Ski area, with access to 650km of pistes with just 1 ski pass.

Morzine itself offers some of the best skiing in the region together with excellent snowboarding parks. Morzine has a brilliant snow record due to its location within the Mont Blanc weather system and its advanced snowmaking, allowing good skiing from December to April.

The resort of Morzine offers everything you would expect from a bustling modern ski holiday, whilst still holding the charm and hospitality of traditional French village. Morzine was voted the 5th best ski resort in the world in 2001, and is now the second most popular British ski destination.

Morzine is ideally situated an hour from Geneva and the extensive motorway network making it ideal for a self drive holiday.

Morzine - Piste and Lift Information
In Morzine ski resort, beginners can enjoy the wide and gentle nursery slopes and the intermediate skiers can make the most of the varied blue and red pistes throughout the whole region. For the advanced there are hundreds of challenging pistes and famous runs such as the world cup downhill black and Swiss wall.

Snowboarders can enjoy the freeride snow parks, including the best super pipe in Europe situated in Avoriaz. The Portes du Soleil area was rated as one of the best regions for snowboarders due to the endless freeride, pipes, parks, rails, powder bowls and cliff jumps.

There are various Ski schools such as Ecole du Ski Français in Morzine ski resort which cater to every ability.

Morzine is also a popular family resort and offers various facilities to the families including crèches. Some of them are Le Club des Piou-Piou and l'Outa.
