Very smooth and trouble free crossing. Just wish I could have had more sleep. 4.0
Cheap but certainly not cheerful. Check-in at both Portsmouth and Le Havre slow and chaotic. On board facilities limited but reasonable food. Would not recommend unless you are desperate. 8.2
The booking was with LD Lines. There was not a clearly visible display of the check-in booth for LD Line passengers. The cabin was very comfortable. The food good. A very relaxing experience which I shall repeat. 3.4
The only place that serves food on board could not cope with the numbers and so closed down for a period of time until they could cope and then reopened. Incompetent at the very least. Why should guests have to wait for food, its not like you can go anywhere else? 10.0
We are regular users of this route and participated in a special offer now that DFDS have taken over from LD Lines. On the 30 April, our journey was marred by a malfunction in the Ship's Engine Room that resulted in a two hour delay in arrival time. This will not deter us from using this route but we do feel that the change in departure times is not beneficial. Arrival used to be 2=2.30pm and this change to 5.30pm is very inconvenient. Our rating for onboard catering is not based on personal experience as we do not use this facility. |

You can book your cat or dog on board an LD Lines ferry with AFerry.co.uk. Just select the number of human passengers using the booking form above then on the next screen choose your pet details.
Pets on LD Lines must remain in the vehicle at all times. If you are travelling by foot, you must bring a cage for your pet. There is a limit of five pets per person.
