First time travellers on Sea Jets, found it a great experience, fast and as smooth as a flight despite the choppy sea conditions on the day .
Will use sea jets again. We didn't use the on board catering, so we will have to rate it as average.

Only a two-hour trip. Although strong headwinds caused the ferry to be late arriving at, and hence leaving Mykonos, it was a smooth turnaround. With a brief call at Naxos the journey passed quickly. The seats were very comfortable with plenty of leg-room provided, not cramped like you get on an aeroplane!

The surroundings were clean and there was good access to toilets and lined hygiene-bags etc. which was good for those who get travel-sick easily. Staff were watchful and helpful on every deck.

Disembarking was slow as passengers reunited themselves with their luggage which had to left on the lower deck. Apart from that, everything was extremely smooth and if you were lucky enough to have had a seat near a window the views of Santorini were spectacular on arrival.

Mad rush to get taxis/buses at Santorini port. Relax, have a coffee there in one of the excellent cafes and ask them to ring for a taxi to pick you up later. 15 to 20 euros well spent! If they can't get you a taxi one of the car hire places will know one, try there.

Last time i was in Paros was 25 years ago. as i was visiting Mykonos i wanted to visit the wonderful people who i rented my room from all those years ago.
it was so nice to see them both and their wonderful garden that greeted me
every morning during my summer there. i could only spend one night in Paros but it gave me a chance to reminisce on all the happy times.

Everything was ok. The only problem that we had was about the departuring time from Mykonos. It was changed in 1 hour without comunicating us.

We booked the Sea Jets for our trip from Heraklion to Santorini island.
It is a three hour trip not 2:00 or 2:30 trip.
It was ideal for us as we stay one night in Santorini before coming back to Crete. To do the trip back and forth in one day it's a lot, but when you are press by time the Sea Jet is ideal.
