My only problem was an initial difficulty to locate your company office at Volos to confirm times and obtain booked tickets. I suggest better signs at the entrance gate and on the ferry quay/terminal area, directing ferry passengers and visitors to your office across the road from the ferry terminal, in the main street. Otherwise, thanks for a great service.

Arrivals at different ports are duly announced in 2 languages, however it appears that the stewardess is in a rush (she may be) to get it though. It is sort of a military order... Aside from not sounding friendly, some people can misunderstand what she is saying and miss their debarkation, considering the limited time spent at ports (something positive and commendable for maintaining timeliness).

Overall the journey was pleasant. Being a short 40 minute journey, there was no need for cabin staff contact. The sign posting at Pireus terminal could have been better to obviate the need to ask all and sundry as to where the office is (having reached the correct gate).
The young lady manning the Port side office in Aegina on the day (30 September evening) did not know what was happening. She did not even attempt to hide her ignorance with simple courtesy either. Enquiry from her as to the time of arrival and the location where the ferry would berth in English first and later in Greek through a translator ten minutes before departure time, yielded curt and WRONG answer. Thanks to a Port Security guard, we caught the ferry back to Pireus.

Flying Dolphin on the outward trip was rather elderly, uncomfortable and cramped with poor views, and the only catering on offer was coffee in styrofoam cups. It also ran half an hour late. Flying Cat 2 on the return was much better, especially as we paid the extra 6 euro for 'business class' - good views, easy to walk around, and a little snack bar.

It would have been helpful if the confirmation email from Aferry.co.uk had given instructions how to collect the actual tickets at Piraeus. We worked out that we had to find a Hellenic Seaways booth, but it didn't actually say that. Also, there are several HS booths at the port. If you haven't been before, allow a little time to find the right one.

We booked our High Speed ferry to get from Piraeus to Paros as we starting a 3week break in the Cyclades. We booked Business Class for our journey. The overall experience as can be seen by the star rating was good . However, there did appear to be some staff availability issues in the area , relating to the checking of tickets into the area & also in covering the Bar/ restaurant . There were lengthy periods when this area was not covered at all, so , people were having to leave the area to get refreshments etc. Not good when most of us had paid for the benefit of facilities. Re. checking of tickets there were numerous people who came into the area throughout the journey in what appeared to be 'self upgrading ' I believe some one on the journey must have realised the area was being abused, as within 15 minutes there were 2 checks of tickets within the area by 2 different staff members, resulting in a number of people leaving the area. However, we did have a good journey & would use the service again & recomend it to friends etc.
