St. Petersburg to H ..

We took this ship in preference to the train or flying. We are budget travellers and find prices rather high on these ferries but find the trip to be good value because you get a nice sleep and boats are always a nice way to travel from our point of view. This one has an unexpected bonus. The departure from St. P. is absolutely fascinating. It takes 2 hours or more to clear the interesting port and canal then follow the marker buoys out a narrow channel with interesting stuff to see all the way. I recommend this trip for the scenery.

Helsinki - St Peter ..

Enjoyable ferry ride was tremendous entertainment on board great way to travel out of the country to somewhere new after an enjoyable time in Russia

whilst we enjoyed the experience as a whole we found the music in the bars too loud and the food outlets disappointing as they closed too early and the choice was limited
