About Agios Constantinos
Agios Constantinos is small seaside resort with a population of around 2000 people. This is an ancient town and has developed over the years into a trading town and a tourist resort in the region of Fthioda because of its harbour.
You can simply relax by the beach or admire the ancient architecture and locations and enjoy the Greek gastronomy and culture in Agios Constantinos.
The Sporades islands are known for being green and peaceful and of this group Alonissos is the most tranquil - even in the busier summer months. So if you're looking for a laid back atmosphere Alonissos is for you. Crystal clear waters and green pine trees are what characterise this island. And while small there are still abundant accommodation options and choices in terms of where to go out to eat.
The island is well suited to those that enjoy hiking, fishing, canoeing, or just relaxing. Alonissos is also home to the National Marine Park of Alonissos and the Northern Sporades which was the first marine park in Greece and is currently the largest marine protected area in Europe. Some spots are open to the public where you can go swimming, diving, and observe the wildlife. You won't be disappointed.
