06 Apr 2019From Italy to Greece
The loadmaster was very helpful as we have a big motorhome and we tow a car so knowing exactly where he wanted us to end up was great. Air seats are ok but would recommend taking a cushion on board. The food and drinks were very expensive.

14 May 2017Enjoyable crossing but take a cushion!
Professional staff , clean and comfortable. From Bari it's a 10hr crossing to Igoumenitsa so if you are travelling alone like me and like to sit on deck take a book and a cushion to sit on as the chairs on deck aren't that comfortable after the second hour..If you like to travel inside then claim your seating area early to guarantee yourself somewhere to get some rest...or book a cabin.Good simple fresh food cooked by Greek staff, a (small not very hot) cappuccino is €3.80 though, compared to €1.80 on the Igoumenitsa to Corfu ferry .I would definitely recommend Annek lines, am travelling back with them in October.

This ferry service is efficient, comfortable and friendly. The cabins provide for your needs, even giving you a wake-up call and realising where you are disembarking.

31 Oct 2014A rather unnerving experience for non-Greek speakers
The quality of the on-board facilities, catering and similar were all acceptable. However, there were a few key issues which made this generally acceptable experience into an unacceptable one. Firstly, a good few people stayed up late and drank a great deal, and so for anyone hoping for a good night's sleep may have some difficulty! It was noisy in the cabin area in the early hours of the morning. Secondly, although the announcements over the loudspeaker were in five different languages, which was good, there was worryingly no mention of our destination from when we boarded the boat until we woke up the morning; instead the loudspeaker repeated that the destination was Patras (and we were headed to Igoumenitsa!). Thirdly, none of the staff we met spoke to us in any language other than Greek or in very simple English - it seemed odd that no-one on a ferry from Greece to Italy spoke Italian, which we all also speak. When we made an effort to speak to staff in Italian or English, we were actually completely ignored. Finally, we were never informed that we should expect a wake up call - hence, I woke up an hour earlier than necessary (at five in the morning!) as the boat was running late. It was at this point we finally had confirmation that the boat was arriving in Igoumenitsa. The wake up calls are an excellent touch but it would have been nice to have known about them in advance! Overall bearable but not pleasant. Service really lacking.
