Bojden Ferry Port is located in a picturesque area in the south west region of the island of Funen (Danish: Fyn), with its numerous beaches, and quant port town atmosphere. Funen is the third largest island of Denmark after Zealand and Vendsyssel-Thy. Bojden is located south west of Odense, the main city of Funen Island.
Funen (Fyn) is linked to the main Danish island of Zealand by the Great Belt Bridge, which carries both cars and trains. There are also two bridges which connect Funen to the Danish Jutland peninsula for cars only.
Although these bridges link the Danish island of Fyn with the surrounding islands, the Bojden ferry service provides a convenient way of travelling to the nearby port of Fynshav on the Island of Als.
Fynshav Ferry Port is located to the north of the town of Fynshav, and connects the island of Als and mainland Denmark with the island of Funen. You can book tickets from Fynshav with AFerry
01 Sep 2013The Pig Boat
Just to say that we understand that pig farming is important in Als but there has to be some way of masking the stench of pigs being transported by lorry on this ferry - it is quite simply nauseating!!!

21 Sep 2011Short Pleasant Trip
This is quite a short trip. Takes about an hour at sea. Almost everybody spoke English which was a relief! Lots of seating. A nice view as we came into port. All together a pleasant and relaxing journey that was all part of a wonderful enjoyable European honeymoon.
