my worst journey yet, but not AFerry's fault
    • the weather was foul, so the boat was delayed two and a half hours. The french were on strike, so I had to drive past about 100 parked lorries (poor drivers). And when I arrived at Dover it was dark and rainy and my GPS packed up.

    Good crossing
    • Are Calais to Dover crossing was perfect after a long drive from the ski slopes. We arrived at the port and straight onto an early ferry due to having booked flexy tickets. A good meal, good coffee, duty free stock up .... friendly, helpful staff... and before we knew it, we were back in the UK. We like travelling with P and O despite it being a few pounds more expensive than DFDS. Thank you all.

    • I was disappointed that (although the ferry was very lightly loaded) I had to pay an additional 83 euros to get an earlier ferry on the same day. Particularly, because on my outbound sailing, when it suited DFDS to put me on an earlier ferry, no charge was made.
