    • Simple and easy option. I prefer a ferry as it gives more time for a rest. Shop and café very expensive at the stations...

    Coming home
    • Arrived at port to be told your be on train 30mins early great we thought got to terminal and then told there's 30 min delay so it seems there's a lack of communication between gate and terminal

    Solo trip
    • Apart from a long wait at the Calais end due to a train cancelation and bad weather it was another good trip.

    Way to travel
    • After experiencing coach loads of school children ,English and french , running wild and not controlled by the teachers on the ferries it was good to travel quickly and having a quiet rest. For the continuation of the journey

    Predictable security (at one stage)
    • Only one thing stood out about this trip and that was you could more or less choose which passport control to proceed through that could avoid the visible queues for vehicle checks on the other side.
