About Formentera

Formentera Ferry port lies in Formentera, the smallest and the southern most of the Balearic Islands. It has a size of 84 square kilometres. Formentera is only reachable by sea because it has been impossible to build an airport due its characteristics. Ferries from Formentera go to Denia and Ibiza and can be booked through AFerry.

Formentera offers a range of restaurants, pubs and discos open all through the year till in the night You can simply relax on the beaches or explore the inland with varied and breathtaking landscapes in Formentera.

Formentera is approximately 19 Kms to the south of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is almost entirely flat, except for two promontories, one on each end: Cap de Barbaria with the mountain Puig Guillem (109 metres) and Mola with its Talaiassa (192 metres), the highest point of the island. On the northern part of the island there are two salt-water ponds: s'Estany Pudent and s'Estany des Peix.

Formentera's main charm is its natural environment and most importantly, the pristine white sandy beaches with transparent waters. The marina in Formentera offers activities such as wind surfing, scuba diving and various other water sports.

Ferries to and from Formentera

Aquabus vessels are small and nimble, allowing them to sail close to shore. This gives passengers superb views of the Ibiza and Formentera coastlines from the top deck, where there is ample seating.

    A Good Priced Crossing
    • All ok but boat is small and a bit up and down at times in the choppy waters but I don't get seasick but one person did.I would book this again

    • Four days in Formentera off to a good start with a short, fast and efficient ride across in the ferry. Nice staff, comfortable seating and a no fuss journey. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
