29 Oct 2019Inconvenient
While the booking and boarding process was uncomplicated, I found the service on the ship inconvenient. You can only pay cash and in Yen on the ship, the restaurant closes extremely early and there are no showers, only a japanese-style public bath.

18 Aug 2019Really quick and comfortable Hydrofoil Ferry
Very smooth ride almost like being on board s plane. The Beetle is a quick and convenient way to get from Busan South Korea to Fukuoka in Japan. Tickets were relatively expensive (£320) for a family of 4 but less than the cost of flying. On boarding was very easy. We didn't use on board catering but ate in the canteen at the Busan end of the operation and enjoyed the food. Wifi on the ferry was terrible to the point of being non existent. Would definitely use again to travel between Japan and Korea

03 Aug 2019Punctual ferry
The ferry was on time. All the facilities are well maintained. However, it took me some time to understand how to get connected with the wifi. I didn't use any catering service but I couldn't submit this review without checking that item.

24 Jul 2019Great trip
We really enjoyed our overnight ferry crossing and were especially impressed with the on board onsen. The shared sleeping cabins were suprisingly comfortable for futons on the floor. It would have been useful tohave credit card availability or an ATM on board.

14 Jun 2019Busan to Fukuoka.
The checking in process was easy. Security checks hassle free. The crossing itself was very good, though we had calm seas (have no idea what ride quality would be like if rough seas). Passport and baggage checks at Fukuoka were efficient. And good information for onward travel at terminal. I was travelling to Hakata station (Shinkensen)and was sold a prepaid ticket for 230 yen for the BRT bus (give ticket to driver when getting off).
