    For your information
    • Booked 14.30 ferry from Alanya to Girne with my friend. The email confirmation told us to check in at least 2 hours before, this was totally unnessessary as 30 minutes before would have been plenty of time, also the ferry left 45 minutes late anyway. Also note that the tickets must be collected from the ticket office which is five minutes down the road not on the port of departure as told. You will also need to pay tax of 15 liras/person. But the most disappointing part was that it took 4 hours to get there instead of 2 hours. We should have arrived at 16.30 according to the booking sheet, but in reality arrived at 19.15 when it was already dark. Same on the return, ferry left 30 minutes late and took 4 hours.
