About Glossa

Glossa is a village on the island of Skopelos in the northern Sporades Islands in Greece, approximately 6 miles northwest of Skopelos town. The Sporades Islands are well-known for their beaches, beautiful terrain, and coastal diving and snorkeling. In the neighborhood of Glossa is the chapel of Agios Ioannis, which featured in the 2008 film "Mamma Mia!". From the port of Glossa there are many ferries to the nearby islands.

About Alonissos

The Sporades islands are known for being green and peaceful and of this group Alonissos is the most tranquil - even in the busier summer months. So if you're looking for a laid back atmosphere Alonissos is for you. Crystal clear waters and green pine trees are what characterise this island. And while small there are still abundant accommodation options and choices in terms of where to go out to eat.

The island is well suited to those that enjoy hiking, fishing, canoeing, or just relaxing. Alonissos is also home to the National Marine Park of Alonissos and the Northern Sporades which was the first marine park in Greece and is currently the largest marine protected area in Europe. Some spots are open to the public where you can go swimming, diving, and observe the wildlife. You won't be disappointed.
