    Cabin or not?
    • Food in restaurant and snack bar was plentiful and good. Despite some swell the vessel was very steady. Our one complaint would be the cost of cabins. The cheapest cabin would have more than doubled the cost of the journey. We decided that was unreasonable and, as there were only a few people in the reclining seat area, slept on the floor. It was cold. While accepting that as many people paying for cabins as possible is the object and if we are not prepared to pay we shouldn't complain too much, we felt that for a smaller sum of money blankets could have been provided to make the cheaper option a little more comfortable.

Very late travel between Helsinki and Travemuende
    • All the checking in and going on board went very well but the journey started with a delay of 2.5 hours. We then ran another 1.5 hours late. The departure time of the ferry is extremely bad as you arrive in the evening in Germany. This means that any passenger who wants to travel onwards has to travel throughout the night. Running 4 hours late, the ship did not arrive in Germany until 1 a.m. Plus there is no entertainment or variety of shops/Restaurants on board. Being stuck on there for 33 hours is extremely boring and the food wasn't even good.
