06 Oct 2019Very smooth crossing.....
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that there was no 'swaying' movement from the boat. Bunks were surprisingly comfortable, all in all a good trip

20 Aug 2013Travelling from Crete to Italy
We arrived at Heraklion ferry port and the checking in process was simple. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't collect both ferry tickets at the same time - we were travelling with the same ferry company from Heraklion to Piraeus and then from Patras to Bari but had to wait until we arrived at Patras to collect our next ferry ticket. T he onborad facilities were fairly clean but the duty-free shop was very small, over-priced and did not have a lot of choice. We stayed in a cabin which was clean but directly above the engines (I think!) so was very noisy and we gained little sleep. The 'bathroom' was very small and not designed for the smaller person. Onboard staff were very friendly and the food, although over-priced, was varied and satisfying. My only real grumble would be that the ferry company advertises a connecting bus from the Piraeus ferry port to Patras ferry port (which you pre-book), however we discovered when arriving at the ferry port in Piraeus that the ferry company no longer run this service (despite us pre-booking!) which resulted in an extremely stressful train journey to Patras.

18 Aug 2013A simple and comfortable trip
This was an easy to use service, there was a comfortable amount of services and seating on boards although I felt there could have been more variety.

16 Sep 2012Best possible sea trip from Crete to Athens
I've been on lots of Greek ferries but this seemed to me to be easily the best! Incredible welcome on board - treated like 5 star hotel guests from the start. I would give 7 stars to rate the onboard staff, if I could, but five will have to do! Our cabin was very comfortable in every way. But you don't have to have a cabin - and on-deck facilities are a fine place to spend the night if you prefer. The bars on board range from very formal, with a waiter - (who gets a tip and deserves it!) - to much more informal places - you can take your pick. Restaurants are great. Announcements are very easily audible but kept to a minimum. The ship is incredibly comfortable in every way, with facilities for children of all ages! This was a very enjoyable crossing indeed and great value.

23 Jul 2012My first ferry trip
A rather good ferry trip overall. Sleep was however very bad, because of the air conditioned, it was very-very cold. I had airplane type seats, so i don't know about cabins/berth quality. But I think that people that have bought only deck tickets have had no problem sleeping in the airplane seats area, there was no way to check them... A bit unfair for those that have paid more for having a seat.
