Langesund is a beautiful Norwegian seaside town with pretty multi-coloured houses and one of the most famous summer towns in Norway because of the good weather and beautiful scenery. You can find a variety of hotels and restaurants here if you are planning on staying here. Historically, it was one of the most important shipping towns in the country. The most famous landmark in Langesund is Langoytangen fyr, a lighthouse on a small island right outside of Langesund. Well known as the home to the concert destination Wrightegaarden it hosts concerts throughout the summer and has featured artists including Elton John and Bob Dylan.

Travel north and you will find the beach resorts of Lokken and Lonstrup, which are famed for their artistic seascapes.
