Lovely ship. Get a seat quick!
    • Huge ship, like a cruise liner. Expensive though so not many people had a cabin Not enough free seating so people were sitting on the floor and stairs. We were lucky to find a seat and never moved. So no exploration of ship and no food! Well organised and efficient loading and unloading.

    Norway to Denmark
    • Journey was easy and troublefree. Ship left on time and arrived on schedule. Can't comment on catering or onboard staff - didn't use the cafeteria or had to contact staff.

    I'm on a boat
    • Normally the only ferries I go on are from Dover to Calais. They are grim, and I can never really feel comfortable or safe on them. Your ship felt brand new and was full of comfy seats instead of hard plastic ones and drunk people. This was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it. There was a room at the front of the boat that seemed like it might be used in the evenings as a dance floor. We had an afternoon ferry and for some reason there was a DJ in there, who quite frankly was playing awful music. I was sat in the next room (next to a scale model of the ship) and the music was very audible and got on my nerves a bit. I think there may have been a karaoke competition in there as well which certainly didn't help. You also had some nice decorative trees and a shop exclusively for selling meat, neither of which I have seen on a ship before and thought were rather nice. I think there was also a microwave for passengers with their own food, good idea. I just remembered that I found it a little hard to find the stairs from the car deck up to the passenger ones, you have to push a button that looks like it might sink the ship or set off an alarm in order to open the door. The door itself wasn't clearly marked either. Luckily one of the guys working on the car deck saw me wandering around and showed me what to do. Maybe some big arrows on the wall would help avoid this confusion. I noticed in the catering area were the quotes 'art is anything you can get away with' and 'being in art is such a noble profession'. I couldn't decide if this was a joke or if you were just trying to make people think a little bit about art and life. Was the food art? Were the chefs making anything you can get away with? I was surprised and confused to see these words underneath trays of pizza, but they made me smile anyway. Looking forward to my next journey.
