About Almeria

This is a popular port for Moroccan nationals living throughout Western Europe to go home for the summer and catch up with friends and relatives. It's also more convenient for people travelling from Spain to Algeria than other ports on offer. The name Almeria comes from the Arabic Al-Mariyat, which means "The Mirror of the Sea". Almeria city itself is a pleasant and largely modern city and offers a relaxing holiday destination and has a wealth of history to offer. Almeria offers a good selection of art galleries, museums and shops.

    I am absolutely disgusted
    • I must say I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service received at Nador ferry port and the handling of the entire delay, There was no communication with the passengers and I have had to pay a large amount of money to travel back to my country of residence (UK).
