Great journey, shame about the arrival
    • Excellent check-in and journey all spoiled by taking nearly two hours to get off the boat and through'border checks'. Ridiculous.

    Bad beer price changes
    • The price of Old Speckled hen has been changed and not in a good way. A pint is £3.70, fine. A half is £2.50!!!!. A rip off. Also are dads aware that by encouraging drivers to have a pint rather than a half of beer on arrival in Dieppe they are going to be over the drink drive limit?

    Great value for money
    • We travel across the Channel every 6 weeks or so and DFDS is without fail the best value for money out of all the other providers. The onboard facilities reflect this, as they are relatively limited by comparison, but if you are after a good value crossing, this is it! The food is actually very good quality and check-in staff are friendly and not jobs-worths. The only two recommendations would be a longer overnight crossing with a greater number of cabins so that one can get a real nights sleep and secondly a membership program to reward loyalty. Highly recommended.
