    Relaxing and very nice experience
    • I have to admit that I was wondering when the ship would be sinking as it is pretty old but then we are not masters of our destiny. It is a very relaxed journey, plenty of space, good coffee and not to many temptations to spend money. Very nice experience, kind staff if you have time as the journey can take up to 4.30hr. Very close to Bruges and Ghent.

    The Larkspur
    • Its a great crossing and ship and really feel at home there.I had some problems checking in because I have a short wheel base van and the website I used to book didnt really suit my vehicle.Im a carpenter working over in europe and not a 'bootlegger'.Nor am I carrying lots of cheap european goods to sell in Britain and resent the other ferry companies on the other routes charging me double and triple that somebody with a large 4x4 full of people gets charged . My vehicle weighs no more and is no bigger than an average people carrier and for the continued great value of transeuropa will continue to sail with you.

    • When I booked the ferry there was no mention it was a freight ferry, no mention that there were no facilities for car passengers, which was a shock when we boarded. this meant that for the four hours between 10.30 & 3am we had to go hungry watching the lorry drivers eat and try and sleep on the cold hard floor while the lorry drivers retired to their cabins. We also witnessed a crew member smoking inside the ferry whilst there are no smoking signs all over the walls. So basically this was a horrinble journey made worse by the fact no one told us to expect it. I will never be using this ferry company again.
