    Ferry trip
    • The ferry has been revamped and though old, is very comfortable with air conditioning in the salon. You can buy drinks, coffee and cheese pies etc. We always travel by ferry rather than Flying Dolphins as you can walk about and go on deck and watch the sea and islands so we recommend this trip!

Trip from Hydra Island to Poros Island with Hellenic Seaways
    • The vessel was a flying dolphin which we had never travelled on before so this was a new and exciting experience. The journey was only short and went smoothly and as expected, we were very happy with it and would recommend to others.

    Stress free travel
    • We've booked the Piraeus to Poros fast ferry twice through Aferry now. The website is easy to navigate and you just collect the tickets from one of the kiosks by where the ferries dock which took us no time at all. Although it's simple to buy tickets when you get to Piraeus it's well worth booking in advance to ensure you have a seat. You don't have much contact with the onboard staff on the fast ferries as they just see you onto the ship and try to ensure the luggage gets stowed properly. I think there's a small snack kiosk on the flying cat but we didn't try it hence the 3 star score for the catering as the system won't let me leave it blank. The seats on both the flying cat and the flying dolphin are comfortable and the washrooms are on a par with ferries everywhere but absolutely fine.

    Piraeus to Greek islands
    • Arrived in Piraeus port very early, confusing which ticket office to use as hellenic seaways have a few dotted around the port with nobody in them at times stated opening. Make sure you have a map of port and gate no to access the ticket office you will need to get tickets or where your cruise ship is docked.
