About Port Hardy
Port Hardy lies on the northern tip of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It is the start point for Cape Scott Provincial Park, the North Coast Trail and the BC Marine Trail. Port Hardy was originally named after Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy who was the captain of H.M.S. Victory. Port Hardy is twinned with Numata in Japan.
