About Porto Torres
The Basilica of San Gavino is well worth a visit. Dating from the 11th Century, it is made up of precious hard stones such as marble. It is the only example of its type in Sardinia.
Barcelona is the capital of Spain's Catalonia region, and is one of the Spain's, or even Europe's, most beautiful and vibrant cities. Barcelona is a city of contrasts, which is evident in its architecture, a marriage of Gothic spikes and modern curves, including the famous - Sagrada Familia.
Barcelona is divided into two parts. The old city, which is the heart of the city, includes shopping, cafes and museums. Then there's Port Vell, which features bars, restaurants, shops, an IMAX theatre and the largest aquarium in Europe, not too far from the main Barcelona ferry port.
22 Nov 2016Is AVERAGE the company's target performance
Check-in and embarkation is 3km outside Porto Torres - awkward for foot passengers with an 05.30 check in. Received 12 hours notice by email that departure would be delayed by 90 minutes. This was good. But on the day the ferry did not Départ until 11 am. In general the service was never above average

21 Oct 2016Practical way of crossing the Med
It was a lively crossing, plenty of entertainment, the only downside was the very early departure time from Porto Torres and the rather unnecessary requirement to check in two hours before departure, i.e. 0430
