    Better than Pont Avon
    • Always done the Portsmouth to Santander before but much preferred this. Could do with a self service restaurant and need to cater for gluten free - luckily I knew they didnt so took all my own food and staff really helpful in providing cutlery etc. Much easier loading and unloading, also a far nicer ambience on board than the larger Pont Avon

    A fine journey
    • Clean surroundings and cabin, well equipped with tea and coffee facilities. The staff were so helpful always greeted with a smile and politeness. The metal dog kennels were harsh with lots of whining and barking. They should have been in pairs with separation between. Had I known they offered pet friendly cabins then I would have chose that option.

    Not Great
    • Very noisy cabin. Not much sleep or chance to relax. Bed vibrates. Not a good experience.

    • The ferry was generally good apart from being a pretty lumpy crossing but then it is the Bay of Biscay! So sleep difficult but ferry arrived on time despite setting off an hour late. Good way to get to Spain if you want to avoid driving through France.
