Roscoff is well connected to UK and Ireland and thereby aids the development of tourism and revive the traditional trading routes between them.
Roscoff is a charming little seaside town with 16th century granite houses, small specialist shops and bars and restaurants. Roscoff is a perfect place to be to if you like to enjoy a quiet holiday by the seaside, as the town maintains a relatively low key apart from the old harbour and the rue Gambetta.
Roscoff benefits from a mild climate throughout the year because of the Gulf Stream and also because it is shielded by Ile de Batz island. Some of the attractions in Roscoff apart from the beautiful beaches (one of the best is the Laber beach about 1Km away from the old harbour) are the Jardin Exotique (the tropical garden), Notre Dame de Croatz Batz (church) and the Aquarium.
Brittany's sea is known for its healing properties and hence a visit to the region's oldest Thalassotherapy centre established in 1899 is worthwhile.
With its impressive natural harbour, Plymouth has long been an important site for British naval history. It was from Plymouth that the England Navy set sail in the 15th century to defeat the approaching Spanish Armada, an event that is still celebrated in many of Plymouth's museums.

03 Dec 2019A new route
Everything was well ordered and to the highest standard. This late November, daytime crossing was not well used so we had the run of the facilities and the full attention of the staff but on this showing I would use this route again. Remember though that Roscoff is a long way West if travelling across France! Do not expect much from the Port of Roscoff - there is a toilet!

The guy at the food counter in the restaurant was very rude and not helpfu! Everything else was okay.

11 Jul 2018Nearly Perfect
Very satisfactory apart from not being advised that departure from Roscoff was changed from 1630 to 1600. Having made the booking in February, it was pure luck that we were able to meet the revised time. In this age of mass communication, surely we could have somehow been advised of the change in advance.

Good service, except when waiting to check in, no message at Port boarding gate to say check in here,as closed, went to main office and told food passengers only.
