About Sandefjord

Sandefjord is a town in the Vestfold county of Norway. One of the most significant finds from the Viking age was discovered at Sandefjord. The Gokstad ship was found in 1880, and has put Sandefjord on the map as a place of historical importance.

    Trip to airport - super and very cheap way to travel!
    • We were heading back to Oslo Torp aiport to catch the plane home to Liverpool. The ferry was a super and very cheap way to travel and we enjoyed the scenery, the trip and the food very much. Would definitely go this way again!

    Enjoyable trip with fantastic view
    • My family and I had a good time driving across from Sweden to Norway using Color Line. The scenery while onboard is amazing. Bought my son an electronic bird on the tax free. I'd suggest more alternatives in the food choices.
