The port at Sconser is a slipway and has limited facilities. All amenities are 11 miles south in the settlement of Broadford.
Getting to Sconser Port
The A87 runs through the Isle of Skye from the Scottish mainland and passes through Sconser making the port easy to reach by car.
There is a bus stop with shelter right next to the port, offering connections from as far as Inverness via the 917 service which also stops at Broadford.
Sconser sits on the shores of Loch Sligachan which produces the Isle of Skye's finest scallops. Make sure to visit one of the restaurants on the island to sample them. Sconser is also home to the Isle of Skye Golf Club, with a 9 hole golf course.
