05 Jan 2012A Quick way to Italy
Overall a quick way to Italy. A smooth calm sailing we slept well. Overall pretty much a 3 star operation. Attention to detail cleanliness a little lacking, even in cabins! A lot of facilities not open - really just a long ferry ride but served our purpose for the price.

We have used several ferry lines and ferry routes so far. This route was the worst ever. The staff on board showed little empathy or cooperation. Cash withdraw (via credit card) was not possible. Dirhams (currency from the departure country) were not accepted. The food was expensive and prepared without passion. Pasta and puréed tomatoes seemed to be the only ingredients of the tiny lasagna piece (7 EUR). The cabin was grubby and poorly maintained. Very small duty free shop. The disco was locked with a padlock. So was one of altogether two restaurants. Nothing much to do during this 50 hrs trip.
