Trelleborg became an important trading town in the medieval period with German traders coming in to trade herring fish which is found abundantly in the waters around Trelleborg and its location on the Southern tip of Sweden made it even more accessible.
Trelleborg boasts of miles of sandy beaches and picturesque locations. Some of the interesting places to visit are the Trelleborg Ring Fortress built by the Danish Vikings around the 10th century, stone megalithic tombs, museums and enticing craft shops, the Trelleborg Museum and Blå Huset, a well-preserved traditional garden.

22 Dec 2016Well prepared for small kids
A playground and a quiet-feeding-changing-sleeping room were a pleasant surprise on a boat packed with lorry drivers.

Overall the trip was great. The only thing is the check-in process. The two line makes it slow, and there is no fast lane for Motorbikes. The crew should have told us - riders - to turn back the bikes, because we had to leave the parking area on the ferry to the same way, we came in.

Nice journey, but it would be better to be a little bit earlier departure from Trelleborg , like it was last year. But it's ok anyway!

16 Aug 2013It was ok, but..
it was ok, but the ship is rather old and there must be given more care over the passengers on the night cruises, place must be assured for everyone that wants to sleep, the food is a little bit prison like, you should also have some healthy food, not only sauseges, wurstel, etc
