About Uig

The small village of Uig is situated on west coast of the Isle of Skye. The village is mostly known as the location of the ferry port which connects Skye to Uist and Harris. While a small village you can still find accommodation and a few places to eat especially in the summer.

Good Journey from A to B
    • Modern, clean ferry with friendly, smiling and helpful staff. Easy check in with vehicle. Quick disembark. Varied seating areas to suit different needs.

    Stand by
    • Due to weather, we wanted to leave the island two days early. We were first in the queue for a stand by but still got on. In fact 6 after us got on too. Ships food was good value and tasty.
