Vasto port facilities
The Vasto port is located 8km north of the town of Vastro. This is because Vastro is situated on top of cliffs so can not have a port directly from it, and it is the nearest town to the port - hence why it is referred to as Vastro port. Just outside the main entrance to the port are a couple of cafes with parking if you want to grab something to eat or drink before your ferry crossing.
Getting to Vasto
Getting to the port is reasonably simple. If you are staying in Vasto then you can simply jump on a train or get a taxi. Even if you are travelling from else where you can quite easily find a train/bus combo that will get you there relatively easily.
If you are travelling by car then you will need to take the A14 and/or the SS16. If you opt for the SS16 you will be travelling down the coastline and will see some great views along the way. However the A14 is a faster road. You decide which is best!
