About Weymouth

Weymouth is a town in the English county of Dorset, on the Channel coast. It is a popular resort where tourism has had a strong presence since the 18th century. Weymouth Ferry Port is home to cross-channel ferries, pleasure boats and private yachts and offers up-to-date facilities for handling both passengers and freight traffic all year round.

Whichever Weymouth ferry you choose, to St Malo, Guernsey or Jersey, you will know you found a great price with AFerry.

About Jersey

Like the other Channel Islands, Jersey is far closer to Normandy - France, than it is to England. The Channel Islands are officially British although in many respects they have their own sovereignty.

Jersey combines stunning scenery and a rich heritage with a wide range of tourist attractions. As a result, the island has been a popular tourist destination and has mainly visitors coming from France and Britain.

The beaches on Jersey cater for all types from St. Brelade's Bay with it's 'touristy' appeal to Anne Port, Beauport, and Petit Port offering a more secluded and quiet location. Jersey is sometimes the hottest place in the UK and offers much for the holidaymaker in it's rich mix of indigenous, British and French culture.VAT doesn't exist in Jersey, so the shopping in Jersey is duty free.

    Thought Needed in Seating Plan
    • Not for the first time I was allocated a seat next to someone when there was ample room on an uncrowded vessel. Where's the competence in that?

    • The crossing was a good one and staff very helpful, all questions answered and not made to feel you are wasting there time asking it. Food on board was good and had good selection.

Holiday in Jersey via Condor Ferries
    • Fantastic service from Condor Ferries. Excellent trip to Jersey, on a midday sail. Travelled in Club Class. Very good steward service. Sailed back a week later, at 8:00pm, 02 August, and the departure was delayed until 9:00pm, delay carefully handled and explained by the company. Again travelled in Club Class. Was disappointed with those who were sea sick, personally I feel that if you can't travel by sea, don't, as it is unfair to destroy the experience of others. Also, if you are incapable of staying awake and active during a mere four hour journey, then choose a mode of transport with individual cabins! It was irritating being exposed to open mouthed, drooling, snoring, slouching, individuals who showed no respect for fellow travellers. Well done Condor, though can you instigate a way of securing like minded passengers in Club Class?
